Adaptación de la comedia inglesa “Dad’s Army” que versa sobre un pequeño pelotón de soldados voluntarios que fueron rechazados para el servicio militar activo. Mientras la Segunda Guerra Mundial (1939-1945) se acerca a su fin, el grupo intenta mantener el honor local durante las visitas de una seductora periodista y de un espía alemán.
